Dr. Gordon Manu Amponsah MBChB, PGDE, MPhil

Dr. Gordon Manu Amponsah is a physician specialist, cardiologist, and lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. He is also a Physician Specialist and Cardiologist in the Department of Medicine at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), where he contributes to the provision of specialist cardiovascular care.

Academically, Dr. Amponsah is a lecturer in the Department of Physiology at KNUST. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and a Master of Philosophy in Physiology. His academic and research interests include cardiovascular physiology, cardiac arrhythmias, salt sensitivity, and congenital heart disease.

Through his clinical, academic and research roles, Dr. Amponsah contributes to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine and education, with a particular interest in understanding cardiovascular function and factors that influence cardiovascular health.
