Dr. Hyuntae (Phillip) Kim MD, MPH

Dr. Hyuntae (Phillip) Kim is a radiologist with expertise in abdominal imaging and imaging informatics. His work focuses on the clinical application of advanced imaging techniques, including prostate MRI, fluoroscopy, and image-guided interventions. He is actively involved in multidisciplinary care, contributing to tumor boards and clinical discussions that support patient management across gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and oncologic conditions. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he plays a key role in academic medicine through teaching, mentorship, and participation in diversity and inclusion initiatives within radiology training programs.

He has developed a strong background through residency and fellowship training in diagnostic radiology, abdominal imaging, and imaging informatics. His experience includes leadership roles such as chief residency and oversight of specialized services like fluoroscopy. He has also contributed to research and innovation in radiology, including clinical decision support systems, imaging applications in cancer care, and the use of emerging technologies in medical imaging.
