Dr. Nikisha Gudka is a skilled and dedicated clinical pharmacist with a robust background in both hospital and retail pharmacy settings. She currently serves as the Chief Pharmacist at M.P. Shah Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya, where she oversees pharmacy operations, including procurement, drug therapy management, and stock inventory. Nikisha also plays a key role in the multidisciplinary team, contributing to ward rounds, advising on medication management, and ensuring the continuous availability of drugs across the hospital pharmacies.

Throughout her career, Dr. Nikisha has gained experience in various leadership roles, including serving as the Secretary for both the Medicines Therapeutics and Antimicrobial Stewardship Committees at M.P. Shah Hospital. She has been responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly performance reports and has provided strategic direction in the development and implementation of hospital pharmacy policies and procedures. Additionally, she manages human resources across all pharmacy services, ensuring the efficient functioning of staff and operations.

Her prior experience includes roles as an Inpatient Pharmacy Manager and a Pharmacist at M.P. Shah Hospital, where she supervised pharmacy functions, managed dangerous drugs of addiction, and assisted in medical procurement when necessary. Her clinical expertise extends to her work in community pharmacy and her academic contributions as a lecturer in pharmacology, pharmacy laws, and professional ethics at the School of Pharmacy, Kampala International University.

Dr. Nikisha's academic background includes a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice from Queen’s University in Belfast and a Master of Pharmacy Honours degree from the University of Nottingham.
