
Dr. Schandorf Osam-Frimpong is a radiology resident at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Ghana. His clinical journey spans multiple departments including surgery, paediatrics, internal medicine, and obstetrics and gynaecology, where he has developed a broad foundation in patient care. He has served in various hospitals across the country, including Ho Teaching Hospital, Tema General Hospital, and Holy Family Hospital, before advancing into radiology residency training.
In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Osam-Frimpong has a strong background in information and communication technology, with several years of experience in full-stack software engineering. He has developed web and mobile applications and completed training programs in software engineering and blockchain development. His dual expertise in medicine and technology positions him to contribute to innovations at the intersection of healthcare and digital solutions.
He has also held leadership roles in student governance, particularly in ICT committees, where he led initiatives to improve digital infrastructure for students. These roles reflect his commitment to combining clinical service with digital transformation and capacity building within the healthcare system.
