
Dr. Senyo Tasiame is currently a radiology resident at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana. His professional background includes clinical experience across various medical disciplines and a focus on diagnostic radiology, with competencies in computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and mammography. He is actively involved in advanced imaging procedures and is building expertise in interventional radiology techniques through clinical observation and training.
Prior to beginning his residency, he served as a medical officer at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and Nyaho Medical Center, where he was involved in patient management during the COVID-19 pandemic and provided radiological services including ultrasound and fluoroscopy. His early career also included rotations and service in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, surgery, and paediatrics, during which he gained experience in both elective and emergency procedures, diagnostics, and patient care.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Tasiame has demonstrated leadership in student governance during his academic years and participated in community-based health initiatives aimed at promoting public health and awareness. His approach to medical practice is shaped by a commitment to continuous learning, multidisciplinary collaboration, and service delivery in both hospital and community settings.
