Ghauvishini Apalasamy is a pharmacist and quality assurance professional with broad experience across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and quality management systems. She has worked in both hospital and retail settings, contributing to patient management, antimicrobial stewardship, and the development of clinical guidelines and research initiatives at the national level. Her career has also included significant roles in quality assurance operations, where she managed quality documentation, audits, product recalls, cold chain management, and compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

She has collaborated on major projects, including nationwide antibiotic surveys, development of hospital antibiotic policies, and training modules for antimicrobial stewardship, reflecting her ability to bridge clinical practice with regulatory and quality requirements. In addition to her technical expertise, she is skilled in project management, stakeholder engagement, and root cause analysis, enabling her to contribute to process improvements and regulatory compliance in diverse settings.

Ghauvishini holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from the International Medical University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universiti Malaya-Wales. She is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and a registered pharmacist (RpH).

Currently, she serves as Quality Assurance Manager at Novartis Malaysia, where she oversees quality operations and ensures compliance with international standards in storage, distribution, and clinical trial materials management.
