Course Description

This CPD-accredited hybrid event, organized by AstraZeneca aims to enhance healthcare professionals’ understanding of asthma and COPD management within the Ghanaian healthcare system. This course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with essential knowledge and practical strategies for effective asthma management. Emphasizing the importance of closing care gaps, the program focuses on optimizing the use of inhaled corticosteroids (ICS), including nebulized formulations particularly relevant to pediatric care. Participants will explore diagnostic and treatment challenges, guideline-based approaches, structured patient reviews, and the appropriate application of ICS therapies. Featuring expert-led presentations and interactive discussions, the forum aims to enhance clinical outcomes through evidence-based practices and improved patient care strategies.
