The Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism (CVRM) Forum – 2025 is a specialized continuing professional development (CPD) event designed to equip healthcare professionals with the latest insights, clinical data, and multidisciplinary strategies in the management of interrelated cardio-renal-metabolic conditions.

Facilitated by a team of distinguished experts—a Cardiologist, Nephrologist, Endocrinologist, and Pharmacist—this summit promises to be an intellectually engaging and practice-transforming experience. Participants will explore the growing body of evidence supporting the early adoption of SGLT2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) across the continuum of cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic care, while also examining real-world implementation challenges and the science driving pharmaceutical innovation.

The event will combine didactic sessions, case-based discussions, and evidence-focused dialogue, fostering a comprehensive understanding of patient-centered management approaches across disciplines.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

Overview

Course Description

This high-level virtual CPD event brings together leading experts in cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, and pharmacy to explore the evolving intersection of cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic health. Through evidence-based presentations, case discussions, and interactive dialogue, participants will gain critical insights into the early use of SGLT2 inhibitors, strategies for overcoming clinical inertia in CKD management, and multidisciplinary approaches to complex cardio-renal-metabolic conditions. The session also highlights the science driving pharmaceutical innovation, offering healthcare professionals an opportunity to enhance their clinical decision-making and align practice with the latest international treatment guidelines.

What you will learn

Upon completion of the CVRM Summit – 2025, participants will be able to:

1. Interpret and apply key findings from cardiovascular outcome trials (CVOTs) in the clinical management of T2DM.

2. Identify and address gaps contributing to clinical inertia in CKD management using SGLT2i-based therapy.

3. Integrate multidisciplinary approaches for managing complex cardio-renal-metabolic cases.

4. Evaluate the principles underlying pharmaceutical innovation and distinguish between innovator and generic medicines.

5. Apply updated global and local treatment guidelines to optimize patient outcomes.

6. Demonstrate an understanding of the interconnection between cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disorders for holistic patient care.
