
The AWA GP Masterclass is a dynamic two-day virtual training program specifically designed to provide General Practitioners (GPs) with essential clinical knowledge and practical strategies for managing common yet critical conditions in primary care. A special highlight of the masterclass is a dedicated session on Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), an area of significant concern in our region. This session, led by an expert in the field, will provide GPs with the tools needed to effectively recognize, diagnose, and manage SCD, with an emphasis on early intervention and patient education to improve patient outcomes. In addition, the masterclass will also focus on the ocular complications of diabetes mellitus, equipping GPs with the knowledge to identify and manage these complications at an early stage.

2. Diabetes Meletus (DM) and Ocular Complications
Learn how diabetes affects the eyes, recognize early signs, and know when to refer patients to prevent vision loss.
